Tomorrow, at the butt crack of dawn, The Gazelle and I will leave on a jet plane to spend 4 lovely days in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve never been to Phoenix before, but I’ve heard only good things. I am basically ready to go anywhere that the weather is not 45 degrees and windy at this point. It’s been a blustery week for us in the DC metro area, so the idea of basking in sunny, beautiful weather (if only for 4 days) seems like a little glimpse of heaven to me.
The forecast at home looks like this…
And…the forecast in Phoenix looks like this…
Phoenix?
Will you marry me?
I hope you enjoy your nice and warm vacation weather. If we are lucky we will be above freezing today. Did I mention the snow?
ReplyDeleteWell, don't feel bad...I've seen a few flurries today! I'm sure I'll get back from AZ just in time for the first blizzard (which in DC consists of anything more than 1" of snowfall).
ReplyDeleteOh how I remember living outside of NYC. We got 4 inches of snow and they shut the whole place down. I couldn't figure out what the problem was till I saw three cars wipe out in front of me, they were losing their minds. I tried to explain to my husband that back home that was almost a daily occurence and people drove 55mph in it.
ReplyDeleteI know! My boyfriend was born/raised in DC, and he still can't believe that I drive 55 in the snow w/ my impractical little sports car. I just laugh. I learned how to drive in 3' of snow.
